What up
Hello all.
So, I'm going to just come out and say it. My Camera is fucked. I think my SD card is fighting a war vs my camera and both have won. All footage is gone.
So I'll try and get that sorted out asap, but for now its back to just good old text.
Don't you love getting cards from your grandparents or old people in general? My Grandma is the best. For my birthday this year she wrote the following.
Happy Birthday Bradley. Grampa and I are well. Its raining today but it was sunny yesterday.
Classic. I'm glad she added that it was sunny yesterday, because I have not spoken to my grandmother in a long time and the first question I would probably ask her is How was the weather yesterday?
Weather is a wonderful thing. We are always talking about it. Not a day goes by in which you don't mention the weather.
Shes a beauty today!
Fuckin raining again.
Its like 300 degrees kelvin outside.
Always about the weather. It's a standard way to start a conversation these days. A standard greeting. It fills the gap between interesting conversation, because nobody really enjoys talking about the weather, it just a little fill in.
I'm going to keep track of every time I talk about, or make a reference to the weather in one day. Over under on 5. Ill go over.
I had my first day of Level D improv at second city. Lots of new faces which is nice. I like my teacher as she is very good at explaining and helping understand exactly what and why we do what we do while on stage.
RJ moves out in less than two weeks. We are having a Halloween party for him before he goes. I gotta get my camera back before then!
The Drake Hotel is serving booze until 4am all this week. That cant be good for anyone.
I'm in talks with some friends about shooting a show. We are thinking of doing 5 minute web episodes, or webisodes . Obviously online is the way to go these days because the mass audience is just a click away. As for now, I'm just thinking of a general theme for the show. I am debating doing it talk show style. I also like the idea of bunch of random short videos and clips all edited together in a crazy flow. Whatever I decide, I want to start film stuff soon. I want to get the ball rolling on this one. I honestly think the show will be a combo of all my influences. Morgan Waters show, Ray William Johnson, Time and Eric awesome show, stuff like that. I have posted videos of RWJ and Tim and Eric before, not sure if I did one for Morgo.
Here is a classic.

The snow is falling
First major snow storm of the year is here. Seems odd that happens in late February. I managed to fix the snow shovel we that I somehow broke last month when it snowed last. Just a little duct tape goes a long way in the art of snow shovel.
I have 4 of the next 5 days off from work. An odd event due mainly to the fact my birthday is this week. Chef gave me my birthday AND the next day off. He is a good man. Only problem is the day I do work, happens to be Wednesday, the day of the Canada vs Russia hockey game. Perfect. I'm off to work shortly to try and get switched up. I'll most likely end up working my birthday, but if it means getting to watch our boys beat some Commie ass than so be it.
Im going to try and take some pictures and videos of the house so yall can see inside my life as I know it. Probably should.
I gotta run, I'm meeting a friend for fancy black tie dinner at a VIP restaurant in Toronto. Or as I like to call it, all you can eat chicken wings at Hooters. Probably should.
You are missed.

And the day is long
What an awesome day in Toronto today. 3 degrees, sunny and beautiful. The snow is melting and the squirrels are jumping joyously. I made eggs for breakfast as I do most days, but today's eggs seemed to taste just a little bit better. Maybe its the weather, maybe its the its the fact that I used my new Rachel Ray frying pan. Who is to judge.
So I am making more of an effort to write everyday.
For those who don't know, I live right beside a lovely Portuguese Bakery. The ladies inside really like Grant RJ and I because we visit almost everyday and we always make them laugh. Most of the ladies that work there are older Portuguese women, but there is one younger lady that works every now and then that gives me the eyes. I'm sure shes a nice gal and all but I'm more interested in getting my coffee Portuguese bun then chatting about the weather and new and shit. Once in a while I will get a sandwich that they make fresh with whatever meat and cheese you want. I always get the same thing and all the sandwiches come with lettuce, tomato, mayo and mustard. So last time I got a sandwich from her this is what she says.
So, you want me to make you a sandwich huh?
Yeah, that'd be great thank you.
Let me guess, you want lettuce and tomato!
You know it, I say kinda sarcastically
And you want mustard and mayo to right?
Sure sounds great thank you.
And let me guess, you want Havarti cheese?
Okie dokie, I say running out of ideas on how to answer her as she gazes into my blue eyes. Its just kinda off putting. I just want to say MAKE MY SANDWICH FOR CHRIST SAKES. But I can't do that. This whole processes takes almost 8 minutes when it should take 2. That's 6 minutes of uncomfortable and awkward banter in broken English. Now when I see her I don't even bother with the sandwich, but it still takes her 5 minutes to pour me a cup a fuckin coffee. And EVERYTIME I order a coffee, they ask 'double double, right?' Umm no, black please. Ohh.. ok. 15 seconds go by. 'You don't want any sugar?' they ask like I'm the only person that has ever ordered a black coffee. Umm Nope, no sugar... just black. You'd get the same look if you went into a KFC and asked for your 3 piece chicken meal to be cook medium rare. Christ. I do love the bakery tho. The best part is it opens a 4am, so some days when I work until 3 and get home at 4, I go over for and get a drink and little something. I leave and I say 'good night' and buddy says, 'good morning!'
I am having people over on Monday night for my birthday. Come on down if you're in town.
