Good afternoon

Hey all.

I can finally sleep! The weather has cooled the last two days and it's comfortable enough at night now, I can actually catch some Zs. Cool!

I expected the rocky mountains to be a little rockier than this.
That John Denver was full of shit!

Here are two main differences between Toronto and Victoria.

1.
Victoria has Mountains. Toronto does not. Living in Victoria, I was surrounded with beautiful snow covered mountains. Same goes for Vancouver. They never really served a purpose for me, as I don't ski, snowboard, hike or bike. But now that I am settled in here living in the big smoke, that is the one thing that I miss. I miss driving down the Old Island Highway, looking over at Mount Baker and saying 'Hey buddy, you're pretty clear today aren't you? Hey little buddy? Yeah... you're nice.' In Toronto I have the CN tower, however Toronto already has enough creepy people walking around talking to them selves, so the tower and I have yet to speak.

2.
Cabin vs Cottage.
Yes, the second great debate. The west side folk call them Cabins, us east mother fuckers call them cottages. God forbid someone out here mention the word cabin. Police have been given orders to taser on the spot if they even hear that creepy cheesey saying. A friend of mine said he was going up north for the weekend, to visit some friends on the lake. I asked if they had a 'cabin' up there and his response was, 'No. Its a cottage.' And he was serious. So whose side are you on? Cabin or Cottage?

haha, ok that was dumb. Another great day here in Toronto. Lovely lovely.

I am trying to update everyday, as one of my recommendations from my writing teacher... so yeah.

I watched two movies the other day. First was 'The Rocker' starring Rainn Wilson. The first 15 minutes were amazing. I was laughing so hard at some points, I had to pause the movie. It kind of slowed down, but still had some great lines later on. Not a great movie movie but still a fun watch.

Pride and Glory. I had no idea what it was about going in, and I freaking loved it. I know anything with Edward Nornton is going be good, at the very least well acted. He did not disappoint. Colin Farrell and Mr. Jon Voight also put it great performances. I thought it was very well shot, but maybe a little to shaky for me. I am more of a steady cam guy for the most part. But overall, I thought it was very good, and well worth the 5 bucks I paid.

I gotta go, its laundry day. Yeeaaahhh!!
