Oh Boy

I love my life.

Its a 32 inch 'Dynex'. For those not completely familiar with that brand name, let me inform you. It's pretty much the no name brand of TVs. I think she looks great. Anyways, its a 32" LCD TV. 720i or whatever. It was on sale for 379.99 at future shop. I was looking at the 26" Dynex for 249.99 because I couldn't afford the 379. So, as I am waiting to talk to the TV dude who was busy with some other asshole, I see an 'open box' sticker on one of the 32". But the sticker said 389.99. I thought to myself there is no way an open box can be more expensive cause that shit don't make sense, so I wanted to see how much it really was. Buddy finally gets to me and says

Take it for 329. Its yours.

Yeah.. how about 299?

Fine.

Cool. Can you throw me in a DVD player as well?

No man. You just got a 32" LCD for $299 dude.

Yeah... ok.

COOL! So I have the TV and go to get my camera. I went with the same camera I was going to buy in Victoria. The Sony HD snap. Its small and it should get the job done. I forgot to buy the 8GB SD card so i can't record anything until I do that. I can take up to 5 pictures. Perfect.

I am enjoying my new toys on a rare night off from work. It has been very very slow since new years. I miss the busy times already. I have lots of standing around to do, but I can't leave early because I get most of my dish and pans and crap at the end of the night. So I have to wait for those assholes to finish before I can even think about leaving. It's not so bad though, I actually enjoy going to work. Really awesome people for sure. This one dude Patrick and I started talking. He was asking me if I am a jays fan, cause I was wearing my jays hat in the dishpit one night. I say yeah, of course. So we shoot the shit about the for a few days, we're already planning to go to a few games. But get this. Here is the kicker folks. Here is where she alllll comes together... It turns out one of our cooks at the Drake has a best friend. This best friend has an old brother. This older brother happens to be Alex Mother Fucking Anthopoulos. For those who don't know, and I guessing its everyone but Dylan and Marcus, that is the GENERAL MANAGER for the TORONTO BLUE JAYS. Yeah. I know. Really awesome. Let's hope we can get some free freaking tickets.

I should get an SD card in the coming days then post my first video after that.
