Brief but powerful

Despite the title, this blog is NOT about ability in the bedroom.

I was in my apartment surfing the net, waiting for my clothes to dry downstairs in the laundry room. I looked outside and saw dark clouds moving in, and the sunny day moving out. I go down stairs to take my laundry out, I pull out the first t-shirt and begin to fold when a crack of lightning hit so loud it made me scream like a girl. If I was 65 years old, that's it. Im dead. It was heart attack loud. Anyways, by the time cleaned up my urine off the floor and finished folding my laundry, and got back up to my apartment, the storm had fully arrived. Wind blew very hard for about 10 minutes along with torrential rain. Heavy thunder and lightning followed. I leaned out my balcony door for 10 minutes and got completely soaked. I could not take my eyes off the storm. After about 15 minutes or so it calmed down, and the worst was over. I just read this article and was blown away (bad pun).

DURHAM, Ont. - At least one person is dead after violent storms carrying tornadoes tore through Ontario.

There are reports of funnel clouds causing damage in at least three communities and large swaths of the province, including Toronto and Hamilton, are under tornado warnings.

Environment Canada Meteorologist Geoff Coulson says it's an ongoing situation and adds people should find safe shelter.

Several buildings are damaged and trees are strewn throughout the southwestern Ontario town of Durham after a possible tornado touchdown.

The West Grey Police Services confirms one person was killed in Durham during the storm, but did not provide details.

York Region police say they have reports of injuries after a possible tornado sighting near Newmarket, north of Toronto, but nothing has been confirmed.

Environment Canada is also reporting a possible tornado moved eastward north of Toronto through the Vaughan area.possible

I miss that crazy weather. When I was growing up in Manitoba those thunder storms were kick ass. Victoria's weather is so boring....

WOW. I saw the stand up Mike MacDonald in person last week in Sidney, B.C. He was great. He came up here as the headliner to support standupformentalhealth. Check out the web site: http://www.standupformentalhealth.com/
They hope to start a troup (sp.?) here in Victoria....

I don't have many friends and I don't understand. Hardly anyone comes over. I've been watching the Dog Whisperer a lot. When a dog lets another dog smell it's butt, it's an act of submission. So I thought....so MoJo would stop biting people when they come over, I hold him up and ask all visitors to smell his butt. The responses vary and I keep checking to see if my doorbell is out of order.
