Its freaking hot

Yes kids, its a scorcher in the big smoke. 29 degrees (Thats 80 for all my american brothers out there), but it feels like 35 (thats 90 for all my american brothers out there) with the humidity. I am not very happy about that, but what can I do? Sit in my room and read my Chris Farley book, that's what I can do! (thanks h-paw)

Went to the Jays game again last night. It was awesome again. The boys pulled a 7-1 victory over the hottest pitcher in baseball. He hadn't given up more then three runs all fuckin year!

I will be going to the game again tonight, look for a dude sitting by himself sitting in the nose bleeds trying not to sweat.

Not much really going on. I had a hell of a time trying to get a room for this weekend. I guess the city is a busy place on long weekends. The Holiday in wanted $299 a night for a single bed room. The Strathcona wanted $399. All the hostels in walking distance of downtown were booked. It was about 1pm, and I was hot and frustrated, and had no place to stay. But I stumbled across the goldmine in Chinatown. The Motel 8 baby! 129.99 a night. I'll take it! I have this room booked for Friday and Saturday, then a private room at the hostel I stayed at three night ago booked for Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Needless to say, staying in hotels and hostels is starting to take a hit on my finances. We'll see how much more I can take.

Its an odd place to be. Alone in the big city. I was staying with my Uncle Tom the last two nights, which was nice because I had someone to talk to. But he's gone.

There are many thoughts that race between my ears. The big city is not an easy place to be by yourself. Although I love it so far, not having a place to call your own is rather difficult. I cant swing by Dylan's or Steve's place and hang out. I cant go into crossroads and have a pint, I can't sleep my parents basement and eat there eggs in the morning. All those things are taken for granted. I'm not really sure what that term means, so I hope I used it correctly.... When in Rome... That doesn't really apply here.

I went to the hockey hall of fame. It was pretty amazing. I could spend a week in there for sure. I felt like a boy in a candy shop.

I was going to wonder around downtown and try and find my school. But its way to hot. It's supposed to cool down in the next few days, so I will wait until then.

One cool part about the hot weather is all the hot women. They are flocking the streets in full force. I don't if I should try and talk to them, or smash an empty wine bottle over there head. I don't really know why I would do that... so maybe Ill just do nothing like I normally do and just hope.

When renting my room today at the motel 8, they asked me for my I.D. and my visa card. I handed them over and the lady asks, is your first name Robert and Bradley. I said Robert just for kicks. I guess its standard procedure to say "Thank you Mr.(insert last name here) and thanks for choosing the motel 8." Well, she had a little trouble with the last name.
Thank you... Mr...Mac....Doo... Mc.... Doug? ..... Thank you Mr.... McDonald and thanks for choosing the motel 8. I just smiled and walked away. My question is... how the fuck do you turn Ougall into Onald. That's amazing. I most have skipped that class in English 8 where we learn that double L makes a D sound. No wonder I failed that class. Bless her soul, at least she tried... at least she tried..

Thanks for all your comments everyone. Its nice to know that people are actually reading this and that I'm not just amusing myself. I would probably still write even if nobody was reading. It helps to write. It really does.

Stay tuned... more to come..
